The reading room

Think of this space as the gym, the place to work out, switch off, think about stuff, or unwind, somewhere to exercise the body and the brain but without the pain.

There are no rules to reading: no requirements about where it has to be carried out, how you should be dressed, is it best for your health to be standing or seated. There are no rules about the type of book you should read: should it only contain words of more than one syllable, should it even have any words, is it important that the cover looks good on you, lends you an air of academia, political wisdom, or expertise.

Who cares? Take a look through the library to see what you feel like reading today, then pull up a chair and turn to the first page.
